Church of St. Sava was raised on a former squared bastion and it is surrounded by houses.

The building of the church started in 1893, foundations were laid in 1900, and it was completed in 1904. The church is in the style of Classicist churches popular in the late 18th century. In 2006, the church was renovated in order to repair damages of the bell tower.
